to become

“fodder for roses”

we draw breath for a second

to become fodder for roses

we need the breath of angels

to lose our apathy

we hold our breath

in meditation in order to be more thoughtful, 

to be slower to speak

for the chance of logic and reasoning,

and perhaps,

to give  ourselves a few more breaths

have you ever taken a breath away

there’s good ways and bad ways

I hope you only know the Good way,

experiences worth reliving

✺✼✺

The bad ways

in secondhand cancer & polluted skies

In knives and guns and things not fun

In lies, perniciously mendacious

The thieving of lives, especially those of angels

✺✼✺

Will you please

like all that of every you and me

we who do these colorful abstracts

long kisses in sand tracks standing still on beach fronts with no hellish visions of Crimson soaked into the silica with blackened skies and the reddish orange bursting bombs to kill you and i 

✺✼✺

replace this vision with the subtle tones of flowers stemmed long from earths song

and the suns rays in fragrances photosynthesized

freshly arranging your person

draw breath for strength to calm  the squeamish in the lack of breathing 160423

what time do we die

what time do we live

what time do we sprout

what time do we give

to become fodder for roses

✺✼✺

what beautiful roses grew

fertilized with our nurturing

feel free to take a few

inhale the fragrance

your exhale becomes it’s love

your lips draw out its petals

with your sayings of today’s inspiration

for others to follow suit from  examples

of the ebb and flow of a rose 

I want to be the best
